Dr Skye Kinder
VIC Junior Doctor of the Year 2017, St Vincent's Hospital
Skye Kinder is a junior doctor passionate about regional and rural health, with special interests in policy, workforce planning and service and process enhancement. As a medical student Skye held numerous positions with the Australian Medical Students’ Association, including as AMSA’s Rural Health Officer and as founding Chair of AMSA’s Rural Health Committee. Skye is currently appointed to the Board of the Rural Doctors Association of Victoria, and is a Director on the Board of the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria. In 2017, Skye was named Victoria’s Junior Doctor of the Year for her contributions to training and education across the state.
