Dr Katherine Wyld

Medical Registrar, Princess Alexandra Hospital

    Dr Katherine Wyld currently works as a medical registrar at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. A University of Queensland Medical School graduate, she
    worked at the Toowoomba Base Hospital for her internship and residency before moving to Brisbane this year.

    Katherine has always been interested in education, and been actively involved in medical student teaching through the Toowoomba Rural Clinical School for a number of years. She co-presented in Darwin at the Australian Medical Education and Training Forum in 2015, discussing an intern readiness program developed in Toowoomba focused on teaching for medical students primarily delivered by junior doctors. She also enjoys being actively involved in hospital life, and was President of the Toowoomba Hospital RMO Society in 2016.

    Katherine is currently studying hard for her upcoming physician exams, and has a particular interest in endocrinology.
