Dr Carly Fox

Plastics Surgery Surgeon, Fellow at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital

    Carly Fox is a newly qualified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon here in Brisbane. She is currently undertaking a Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and Microsurgery at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital.

    Carly completed her MBBS at the University of Queensland in 2008 and went on to complete her early postgraduate years at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, and the Alfred Hospital in Victoria. Following a one-year hiatus to complete the laboratory component of a Masters project in melanoma pathogenesis, she completed a year of General Surgery training before commencing her plastics training.

    Carly has a special interest in surgical outreach, and was the recipient of the 2017 Interplast International Travelling Fellowship.  She continues to pursue her research interests and is heavily involved in helping future surgeons build and develop their research portfolios.
