Dr Andrew Churchman
Staff Specialist and co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training at The Princess Alexandra Hospital
Dr Andrew Churchman studied Medicine at Flinders University in Adelaide before moving to Queensland for internship in 2006. He completed his Emergency Medicine training at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2012, where he developed a special interest in medical education. After working as an EM Consultant at Ipswich Hospital from 2013-2015, in 2015 he moved to a Staff Specialist role at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he is also a co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training.
Andy enjoys the team environment of Emergency Medicine and the ability to teach and train aspiring emergency physicians and junior doctors. He is involved in examination writing, examination standard setting, and as an examiner for the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.
